We are actively seeking an experienced Head of Medical Engineering to work for an organisation based in Gloucestershire. The contract will last an initial 6 months but with likely extension or permanent contractPosition : Head of Medical EngineeringLocation : GloucestershirePay rate : £32 to £38 per hour on an Umbrella or CIS basisKey Responsibilities :

• Maintain critical medical equipment including calibration and replacement
• Manage Medical Engineers and 4x Section Managers
• Procurement within medical engineering department
• Modernise medical engineering services with technical innovation
• Manage departmental budget and generate private income
• Use stakeholder and patient feedback to improve strategy
• Equipment safety tests and incident responses
