Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international trading house looking to add a vessel operator to join their team in the Isle of Man. Key Responsibilities : Coordinate and oversee vessel operations, including scheduling, loading, and discharging of cargo. Maintain close communication with chartering, trading, and logistics teams to ensure smooth cargo execution. Monitor vessel performance, costs, and operational efficiency while mitigating potential delays. Handle all operational documentation and liaise with ports, agents, and shipping lines. Address operational challenges promptly, ensuring compliance with contracts and international regulations. Required Experience : Minimum 3 years’ experience in vessel operations, preferably within bulk or commodity trading sectors. Strong knowledge of maritime logistics, shipping documentation, and cargo handling. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously. Proactive problem-solving abilities and effective communication with diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with international shipping regulations and safety protocols.
