Protocol Education are currently recruiting healthcare assistants who are looking to apply their skills within special needs education. The school we are recruiting from is a state-of-the-art special needs school located in the London borough of Wandsworth to start after Easter. This particular school caters for students of all ages that include early years, primary and post 16 students with varying levels of special needs that include visual / hearing impairments, autism, physical disabilities and complex needs. As a healthcare assistant you will be working in a set class of 6 – 8 students, supporting students on one-to-one basis, promoting a positive learning experience, assisting with sensory integration, working alongside designated care plans, and supporting students in creative lessons such as music, art, dance, and outdoor activities such as the sensory garden.The role : Full time role – Monday to FridayYearlong contract with the option of extendingWorking one to one with students with complex needsOpportunity to work with early years, primary or secondaryDeveloping social and cognitive developmentSupporting sensory developmentFollowing individualised care to students with complex needsDeveloping cognitive and social development with the support or visual and tractile resourcesOpportunity to work residential hoursBenefits : Supportive senior leadership teamExperienced consultantFree training to support you in your roleNo umbrella companiesCompetitive payExcellent transport linksTo be considered for to this role please submit your application ASAP whilst roles last.
