SEN Teaching AssistantLeeds£85 - £95 per day (salary is depending on experience and / or qualifications)ASAP The School and RoleWe are working closely with a school in the Leeds area who caters for a wide range of Special Educational Needs. The pupils have varying needs such as CMLN (Complex and Multiple Learning Needs), moderate or severe learning difficulties, social, emotional mental health needs (SEMH) or autism.Requirements The desired Teaching Assistant will have;Ability to relate well to children and adults and communicate effectively at all levelsAbility to deal effectively with students presenting challenging behaviour using de-escalation techniques as appropriateAbility to work independently and as part of a wider teamKnowledge and experience of behaviour management and restorative strategiesExperienced and comfortable with personal careHaving a driving licence is desirable for this roleWhat we offerAs a Teaching Assistant, part of our team, you benefit from : Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
