BAM Site Solutions are looking to recruit a Commercial Assistant. This role can be based out of any of the Site Solutions locations, which are Wellingborough, Allbrook (Southampton), or Kilsyth (Glasgow). Working 37.5 Hours per week Monday - Friday.

Your mission

As a Commercial Assistant you will play a key role in supporting our business. Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will provide primary day-to-day support to our operational businesses, controlling costs, capturing risks and opportunities, and resolving queries.

• Assist with cost and value reconciliations (CVR).
• Coordinate the production of monthly forecasts, capturing changes, and escalating key issues.
• Track risks and opportunities on our purpose-built platform, BAM Flow.
• Maintain a structured document filing system for commercial data.
• Collaborate with the wider commercial team and share insights.
• Collate and analyse commercial data, compiling it into regular reports.
• Support general commercial functions as required.
• Attend meetings and training sessions to stay updated on processes and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with commercial procedures, following agreed processes for cost control.
• Resolve customer invoice queries efficiently to facilitate timely payments.
