Academics are looking for a SEN teaching assistant to work in a vibrant and inclusive school located in Wandsworth. The school has a well-structured curriculum from early years to year 6. We are looking for a passionate, patient and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant who will play a crucial role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and ensuring they have the best possible learning experience.Position : SEN Teaching Assistant Location : School located in WandsworthContract Type : Full-Time - Monday to FridayDaily Rate : £90-£110 (Choice of Umbrella or PAYE)Key Responsibilities : Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with various SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.Assist in the delivery of tailored learning plans, ensuring students' individual needs are met.Work closely with teachers and other professionals to track student progress and contribute to the development of strategies to support learning.Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.Support the social and emotional development of students with SEN, helping them build confidence and independence.Encourage and promote positive behaviour and attitudes within the school community.If you are passionate about supporting children with SEN and want to be part of a forward-thinking school in Wandsworth, we would love to hear from you!Application wourld be most welcome from graduates with experience working with children with SEN and in a paid or voluntary setting or experienced teaching assistant with a degree or Level 3 childcare qualification .
