Job Description
Are you passionate about history, geography, and the social sciences? We are seeking a Humanities Teacher to inspire and engage students in exploring the world around them, past and present. If you are an enthusiastic educator with a love for humanities, we would love to hear from you. This role begins March 2025.
Duties as a Humanities Teacher :
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in humanities subjects, including history, geography, and religious studies (depending on curriculum requirements)
- Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and independent research among students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and debate
- Organise and participate in field trips and extracurricular activities related to humanities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies
