Are you passionate about history, geography, and the social sciences? We are seeking a Humanities Teacher to inspire and engage students in exploring the world around them, past and present. If you are an enthusiastic educator with a love for humanities, we would love to hear from you. This role begins March 2025.

Duties as a Humanities Teacher :

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in humanities subjects, including history, geography, and religious studies (depending on curriculum requirements)
  • Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and independent research among students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and debate
  • Organise and participate in field trips and extracurricular activities related to humanities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies

Ideal Humanities Teacher :

  • A degree in Humanities, History, Geography, or a related subject
  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
  • Experience teaching humanities subjects at a Secondary level
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Humanities Teacher.
  • A passion for inspiring students to explore history, culture, and the world around them
