Our Client, a leading car manufacturer are currently looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join their business based out of their Edgware Dealership. As a Senior HR Advisor you will support the Group HR Manager in delivering a robust HR service, with a primary focus on improving management capability and developing our people to be the best they can be. By working closely with senior management, the Senior HR Advisor will drive HR initiatives that align with business objectives, with a particular focus on training, development, and HR project management. This role would be ideal for an experienced HR professional with strong project skills, who is looking to gain more experience and skills within HR & the Automotive industry. About the role Take ownership of HR projects, from planning through to execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational goalsManage the roll-out of new HR initiatives, policies, and system changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to the businessMonitor and report on the progress of key HR projects, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successAct as a liaison between TGB / LD to implement and drive any manufacturing-led projects, pilots, and initiatives (e.g., BEIT)Ensure the timely compilation and distribution of the monthly Management Report, highlighting relevant data trendsEnsure HR reporting of COE scores and FTE figures are distributed to relevant Directors by set deadlinesPerform monthly payroll audits to ensure deadlines are met and compliance with National Minimum Wage (NMW) is maintainedAssist the HR Manager with legal reporting (e.g., Gender Pay Gap and ONS reporting) by set deadlinesCarry out a bi-annual audit of all employee relations folders within employee e-files to ensure expired sanctions are deleted in line with GDPR guidelinesEnsure the ER tracker is up-to-date, complete with relevant documentation, and identify any recurring issues in employee relations, reporting to the HR Manager with improvement suggestionsKeep up to date with changes in employment legislation and share knowledge with the teamAssist with updating the employee handbook and reviewing HR policies on an annual basis.Oversee absence management reporting, focusing on key statisticsTake ownership of the talent pathways into the business, including apprenticeships, internships, and work experience, ensuring robust support measures are in place for successWork with managers to identify learning gaps from the appraisal process and recommend learning solutions to drive performance improvementEvaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve initiatives based on feedback and business requirementsDevelop a programme to help managers identify top talent and create career progression plans for employeesSupport line manager coaching and training on all HR processes and procedures Your SkillsHave excellent planning and organisational skillsMinimum of 4 years of experience in HR, with a focus on project management, training, and developmentAbility to work under pressureCIPD Level 3 (ideally level 5)Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple HR projects simultaneouslyAbility to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation About the company Employee focused businessMarket leading benefits including healthcare, pension, childcare and company lease schemeFlexible progression available on depending on your career aspirationsCompetitive SalaryFun, Friendly working environment About our client Our client is a leading car automotive dealership in the UK specialising in Japanese brands, they currently employ over 500 people across 11 retail dealerships and are looking to expand even further.
