An esteemed and award-winning Special Educational Needs (SEN) school group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join the permanent staff team at their Tadworth site. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and dynamic environment, working with children and young people with diverse learning needs.
The Role :
The Teaching Assistant will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, assisting them in their learning and personal development. Working closely with teachers and other support staff, the successful candidate will help to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment tailored to each pupil’s individual needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the learning and development of students with SEN in both group and one-to-one settings.
- Assist the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide emotional and behavioural support, ensuring students feel safe and encouraged.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to support student progress.
- Assist with personal care tasks where necessary, ensuring dignity and respect for all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
