About the Role :
A well-established company in Sutton is looking for a skilled Handyman to join their team. The successful candidate must possess a valid Blue CSCS card and, ideally, have prior experience working in a prison environment. This role involves performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of facilities while adhering to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform general maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical work, and repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential maintenance issues.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
- Respond promptly to repair requests and emergency situations.
- Work within a high-security environment, adhering to safety protocols if working in prison facilities.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials to a high standard.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contractors when needed.
