About This Role :
Pickwick Academy Trust would like to recruit a part-time After School Club Assistant, based at St Gregory’s CofE Primary School on a fixed term contract.
Hours : 8 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 3.30pm until 5.30pm, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days)
Salary : Dorset Grade 4, Point 4, £24,404 pro rata, per annum (actual salary £4442 per annum).
End date : 31st December 2025
Our School : We are a small friendly school set in the lovely village of Marnhull, North Dorset. We are an ambitious and constantly evolving school who prides itself on being friendly with a dedicated staff team.
Role Overview :
We would like to recruit an After School Club Play Assistant to work alongside our After School Club Supervisor to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children who access after school provision.
Duties Will Include :
- To ensure that the health and safety needs of each individual child are met at all times.
- To ensure that food provision is balanced and healthy.
- To engage children in purposeful play and activities.
- To support with home learning and other relevant activities when appropriate.
- To support in all aspects of the running of the provision.
