An excellent opportunity to work for a market leader in the engineering sector who supplies in the automotive sector. The business is highly ambitious, and they are now recruiting for a Supplier Development Manager to join the team. Based from their offices near to Stoke-on-Trent, the Supplier Development Manager will support multiple global manufacturing sites. The role will work on a hybrid basis with the flexibility of working from home two days per week. The role will include regular international travel.
Your new role
The Supplier Development Manager will join the Supplier Development team and will be responsible for assessing and managing new and existing suppliers. The role will conduct supplier audits and monitor performance against contractual responsibilities, specifications and quality controls. The Supplier Development Manager will develop collaborative relationships, resolve supply chain issues and make rmendations for continuous improvement. Additionally, the post holder will also review and approve materials and parts change requests. The role will include regular international travel topany and supplier sites.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be Supplier Development Manager with strong experience of supplier management, and conducting supplier and quality audits. Experience gained in the automotive sector, aerospace industry or similar regulated engineering organisation is preferred. Expertise in the use of quality tools is essential. You will be highly organised and have excellentmunication skills.
