Care Assistant for a Person P / T @ £14.27 / hr in Sittingbourne - ME10

Hours : Between 24 - 25 hours per week over 3 days, every 2 weekends. There is a rota share PA.

Wages : £14.27 per hour.

Duration : Permanent.

I am a gentleman with Cerebral Palsy, who uses a wheelchair and is deaf. I live in my own home. I am kind and friendly, a skilled photographer, and I love going out to take photographs of trains, wildlife, architecture, and more.

I am looking for a PA to help and support me in living my life. I need assistance on some days for social activities and hobbies, such as visiting cathedrals, churches, nature reserves, and sometimes going on trains. I also enjoy outings in my wheelchair-accessible car to see my friends. A full driving license is required.

On some days, I stay at home and engage in hobbies.

My PA will undertake daily living tasks, including preparing meals, general housework, shopping, and supporting me to attend health appointments when needed. Additionally, I would like my PA to accompany me on holidays or breaks – 14 – 16 hours a day.

I am looking for a PA who is understanding, reliable, kind, and has a positive outlook.

This will be a permanent post with contracted hours, annual leave entitlement, pension, and salary paid every 4 weeks.

This post is subject to a DBS check and satisfactory references.
