Are you a passionate food tech teacher looking to ignite students’ interest in cooking and nutrition? We are seeking an enthusiastic food tech teacher to join our school in Sandwell, starting January 2025. As a food tech teacher, you will be responsible for teaching KS3 and KS4 students, helping them develop essential culinary skills. Key Responsibilities : Teach engaging lessons as a food tech teacher, guiding students at KS3 and KS4 through practical cooking techniques and the principles of nutrition. Monitor and assess student progress as a food tech teacher, providing feedback to help them improve their culinary abilities. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the food tech curriculum, bringing fresh ideas and creativity to the role of a food tech teacher. Ensure students understand the importance of healthy eating and food safety as a food tech teacher. Stay up-to-date with trends in food education, enriching your lessons as a food tech teacher with new ideas. Qualifications and Experience : A degree in Food Technology or a related subject. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience as a food tech teacher at the secondary level. A passion for inspiring students to explore the culinary arts.
