Job Description
Registered Respite Manager
Location : Short breaks service, Northamptonshire
Salary : c. £25.00 per hour
Employment Type : 3 months fixed term contract - Full-Time
Are you a compassionate and skilled professional looking to make a difference in the lives of children with disabilities?
Join a dedicated team as the registered respite manager for a Short Breaks Service offering residential respite for children aged 4-18 years with autism, complex health needs, and / or complex behaviour.
About the service : The service is Ofsted and CQC registered, offering parents and carers the opportunity to recharge their batteries, knowing their child is in a safe and stimulating environment. Their priority is putting children first, ensuring they can enjoy their childhood despite their complex needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the respite home.
- Ensure a highly structured and safe environment for children.
- Develop and implement person centred care plans.
- Lead and support a team of skilled staff, including nurses.
- Engage children in activities that promote their well-being and happiness.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted and CQC regulations.
