They are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their dedicated team and support our pupils through the important transition to secondary school.The Role : As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact during this key stage, helping children prepare for their SATs and beyond. You will work in close collaboration with a supportive team of staff and leadership, ensuring that every pupil reaches their full potential and that their emotional and academic needs are met.Key Responsibilities : Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the Year 6 curriculum and meet the diverse needs of all learners.Foster an inspiring and positive classroom atmosphere to promote effective learning.Prepare students for their SATs assessments, offering support and guidance in a variety of subjects.Assess and track students' progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents.Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to support whole-school initiatives.Build strong relationships with pupils, providing encouragement and support.Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school.The Ideal Candidate : Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally with a focus on Year 6.Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation.Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire pupils.A passion for helping children succeed both academically and personally.Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues.A commitment to continuing professional development
