We’re looking for a Hire Desk Manager to lead a busy and dynamic team based in Northamptonshire.Job Title : Hire Desk Manager Salary : £30,000 - £36,000 (room to negotiate regarding salary) Location : Rushden (Northamptonshire)Permanent Position Working over a 7 day week operations, some weekends may be included. Key Responsibilities : Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the hire deskLead, mentor and support the hire desk team to deliver outstanding customer serviceLiaise with clients and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate hire bookingsMonitor and optimise the utilisation of equipment and vehiclesMaintain accurate records of hire contracts, delivery schedules, and customer communicationsEnsure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulationsAbout You : Previous experience in a Hire Desk or related managerial role (plant hire, tool hire, or logistics sector preferred)Strong leadership and communication skillsExcellent organisational abilities and attention to detailConfident in using hire management software and Microsoft Office applicationsCustomer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solvingWhat Our Client Offers : Competitive salary based on experienceA supportive and collaborative working environmentOpportunities for career development and trainingCompany benefits packageIf you’re ready to take the next step in your career and thrive in a fast-paced hire environment, we’d love to hear from you!
