SEN Teaching Assistant – Nurturing Primary School in Richmond Position : SEN Teaching Assistant Location : Richmond Contract : Part-time, Permanent Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of young learners with SEND?
Our nurturing primary school in Richmond is searching for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis.
The Role : You will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide one-to-one and small-group assistance for students with special educational needs.
Responsibilities : Help students with SEND access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities.
Support the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored interventions.
Build trusting relationships with students, encouraging their confidence and independence.
Monitor student progress and share insights with staff and families.
Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
What You Bring : Experience working with children, ideally in a SEND environment.
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting learners.
