Salary : £84 - £108 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic secondary school in Redcar . This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting student learning, development, and achievement.

About the Role :

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality lessons, provide tailored support to students across various subjects, and help foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Secondary TA :

Provide one-to-one and small group support to students

Assist with lesson preparation and classroom activities

Support students with varying learning needs, including those with SEN

Promote a positive learning atmosphere that encourages confidence and progress

Monitor student progress and share feedback with teaching staff and parents

Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies to ensure a safe environment

What We’re Looking For in a Secondary TA :

Experience working with secondary-age students (preferred)

A solid understanding of the secondary curriculum and subject flexibility

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A patient, proactive, and supportive approach to learning

A team player who can build positive relationships with staff and pupils

To Work with GSL Education, You Must :

Have the right to work in the UK

Provide an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years

Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply through GSL)
