The Finance team has an opportunity for a Commercial Technician in Preston.
About the Opportunity
As a Commercial Technician, you will support the commercial team on day-to-day commercial activities across the ENWL business to ensure stakeholders receive excellent commercial services which enable them to provide a first-class service to their customers. You will analyse and process, in line with prescribed timescales, all contractor payment applications and administer any payment adjustments as advised by the QS.
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do :
- Provide a project closure service to all Connections and Diversions business units, supporting the delivery against the project closure SLA and ensuring all liabilities are properly closed
- Support the commercial team on all day-to-day administrative activities
- Produce and update reports as required
- Ensure labour, material and plant costings are correctly booked in SAP.
To apply for this project closure role, you will need to be educated to A level and have excellent IT skills, including MS Office and SAP. You will also require :
