We are seeking an experienced Sub Agent to manage a 3-month infrastructure project in Central Plymouth, with a focus on diversion works that will extend into retaining wall construction. This is a great opportunity to be part of a critical project, ensuring smooth traffic flow while overseeing key structural work.Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage the delivery of civil engineering aspects of the project, including traffic diversions and retaining wall construction. Oversee the planning and execution of road diversion schemes in compliance with engineering and safety standards. Manage the technical and engineering aspects of the retaining wall construction, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to design specifications. Ensure proper site organisation, resource allocation, and coordination with the construction teams to ensure timely completion. Liaise with local authorities, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth progression of works and minimal disruption to the public. Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safe worksite for all involved. Monitor project progress, ensuring civil engineering standards are met, and report regularly to senior management. Requirements : Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with proven experience in managing roadworks, traffic diversions, and retaining wall construction. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, particularly in infrastructure projects, site management, and structural engineering. Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage technical aspects of both diversion and structural work. Ability to manage resources, teams, and contractors while ensuring compliance with engineering designs and safety standards
