Ready for your next opportunity?gap personnel Exeter is recruiting multiple Slingers to join a leading Engineering Services provider supporting the Defence, Security, Nuclear, and Emergency Services sectors at Devonport Dockyard in PlymouthYou’ll be part of a highly respected team working on critical UK infrastructure projects. You’ll need to work with integrity, follow company policies, and maintain the highest standards of health and safety.What you'll be doing : Carrying out slinging operations on Fleet Time & Upkeep projects in Warships & Submarine Business UnitsSetting up safe exclusion zones for lifting operationsProducing basic lift and fleeting plansInspecting lifting equipment and quarantining any non-conforming itemsSupporting additional engineering projects as neededWhat we're looking for : At least 2 years of prior Slinging experienceStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyAvailable immediatelyMust hold one of the following certifications : NVQ2 Moving of LoadsNPORS402 Slinger SignallerCPCS A40 / BlueOPITOPay & Hours : £19.45ph, paid weeklyMonday to Thursday (0730am – 1530pm) & Friday 0730am – 1230pm35hours per weekSuccessful candidates we be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff.
