Calling all people with creative backgrounds in art, music, or acting! We are currently seeking passionate individuals eager to unleash their creative talents in the distinctive environment of a special needs school in Peterlee!

As a Creative Classroom Assistant you will play a critical role in cultivating creativity and enhancing students' abilities in a vibrant sensory setting. Your responsibilities will include improving hand-eye coordination, speech and language skills, social and communication abilities, independence, and cognitive processes.

But that's not all - you will also have the exciting opportunity to dive into various subjects, such as cooking, art, and music.

Key Details : - Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 to 3 : 30 - Engage students through dynamic activities like music, art, P.E. and cooking.

• Provide personalised support, focusing on elevating students' communication and hand-eye coordination
• Assist with sensory integration in the classroom
• Collaborate with teachers to assess students' levels and abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
