What will you be doing as our new Lead Process Engineer
Working as a Lead Process Engineer in our Place Based Thinking team you will provide engineering technical direction to the discipline engineers in your area in either water or water recycling noninfrastructure projects. Part of the role involves providing design support for several noninfrastructure schemes and ensuring all designs fit within the current legislation and standards.
You will be responsible for the checking and reviewing of process design deliverables produced by other process engineers in the @one Alliance to ensure the processes and procedures are followed as well as coaching and mentoring junior engineers.
You will collaborate with key stakeholders and assist the multidisciplinary project teams to ensure the project solution is providing best value for business through being fit for purpose and completed on time to budget and to the correct quality.
Key responsibilities :
Collaborate with the Principal Engineer Portfolio Design Manager and project Design Managers to review upcoming projects and design review dates.
Check Process and Instrumentation drawings and 3D models to ensure quality safety and technical standards are adhered to.
Check project design calculations and ensure they have been completed by the project teams.
Drive sustainability and lowcarbon designs.
Ensure designs comply with process standards regulations and Anglian Water standards.
Develop design alerts where lessons are to be learned.
Provide technical knowledge and experience to the lettings of @One frameworks.
Undertake site visits when appropriate.
Present lessons learned and technical developments to the engineers and wider alliance.
Embrace new digital technologies to achieve the goal of fully attributed 3D models.
A little bit about your skills experience and behaviours.
To be eligible for this dynamic role within the @One Alliance you should possess a D egree in E ngineering or an equivalent qualificatio n or be able to demonstrate a degreelevel of knowledge through relevant experience. It is essential that you possess experience in watersector assets and capital projects in large water recycling projects
