Job descriptionFull UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C). Have at least 1 year of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Coventry area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.
Hours : Days and nights available with shifts across Monday to Sunday. Days start between 4am and 6am, nights start between 9pm and midnight. 8–10-hour shifts.
Job Type : Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.
The role :
- Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots.
- Emphasising safe driving practices and ensuring precise documentation.
- Typically completing 3 to 4 runs on an average.
- Drivers will need to contribute to the loading and unloading of the vehicle, utilising a tail lift and pump truck.
- Engaging with customers while upholding a professional and polite image on behalf of the company.
