Description :
Berry Recruitment are recruiting for School Catering Assistant to work at a school in Failsworth. These roles will be term-time on a ongoing temporary basis.
Hours of work will usually be Monday to Friday 10.45am-1.45pm, with some flexibility depending on the school.
Candidates could work for 15-20 hours per week.
Candidates will ideally have previous kitchen experience, although this is not essential.
Duties will include :
- Light food prep
- Assisting the cooks
- Cleaning down the kitchen
- Pot wash
- Serving at the counter and using the till
Applicants will be required to have an Enhanced DBS check before any work can be offered. These are at a cost of £48 but can be processed by Berry Recruitment as part of the registration process, unless you already hold one that is registered to the DBS Update Service. You also need to complete additional training for Food Hygiene, Safeguarding and KCSIE.
