The Department for Work and Pensions has an exclusive contract with APM Ingeus to source nurses, doctors and physios to work in the area of disability assessment. (Please note this is NOT a role with a FAS provider.)
The key focus of this role is to audit completed work capability assessments, provide advice / feedback on any quality issues raised and be a source of clinical expertise when needed. Hybrid working is on offer, and you will have the opportunity to work 60% of the week from home if desired. You will receive an excellent hourly rate, enjoy the security of a contract until May , and receive ongoing training and support to enhance your current WCA audit skills.
To be successful in your application you will have the following skills and experience :
- Experience of conducting and auditing work capability assessments.
- Fully registered with the NMC and have a minimum of 2 years post registration experience.
- A good understanding of audit process and the ability to provide feedback in a clear and constructive manner.
