This is a fantastic time for a proactive engineer who wants to make a rewarding impact to join the business through an exciting period of change and improvement.We are looking for a Maintenance Team Leader with an electrical skills bias although additional mechanical skills and / or knowledge would be an advantage. You will play a key role in the ongoing improvement of the site's approach to maintenance planning and delivery giving a real opportunity to suggest, own, and implement improvements. There are plans to increase and improve the use of automation across the site, a great opportunity for you to contribute to the development and physical upgrade of site machinery and systems.You will also deliver day to day maintenance activities including delivering a combination of proactive planned maintenance and reactive fault finding and repairs to the site plant and machinery. As the Team Leader you will guide a small team in improving maintenance planning and working methods and will act as a stand in for the site Maintenance / Engineering Manager.Safety is at the forefront of everything at the site, you would be expected to support the application of safe working practices and systems.What you will need :

• Formal qualifications in electrical engineering or electrical maintenance.
• Proven industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Excellent fault-finding skills in electrical systems, both new and old using root cause analysis tools.
• A continuous improvement mindset.
• Proven experience in the use of safe systems of work (LOTO, risk assessments etc)
• Prior experience in supporting the improvement of maintenance planning, implementing new systems, and proactively improving plant reliability would be a distinct advantage.
• Some mechanical maintenance skills or a good appreciation would be great.What we are offering :
