We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Year 1 Teacher to join a committed and supportive team. This is a wonderful opportunity to guide pupils as they transition from the Early Years into Key Stage 1, building essential skills in a happy and stimulating classroom environment. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Year 1 Teacher :

Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in Year 1.

Support children’s development across phonics, early writing, reading and numeracy.

Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

Provide a caring, structured learning environment that supports wellbeing and independence.

Use continuous and formal assessment to track progress and inform next steps.

Ideal Year 1 Teacher :

A qualified teacher (QTS) with a passion for early learning and child development.

Sound knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum, particularly early phonics and literacy.

A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach to classroom practice.

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills as a Year 1 Teacher.

A team player committed to high standards and inclusive education.
