Job Title : Commercial Vehicle Technician (Level 3) Location :  Barnet Pay : £20.79 per hour PAYE | £26.53 per hour LTD Umbrella (Inc Holiday Pay) Working Pattern : Split shifts (06 : 00–21 : 30) + rota-based weekends & Bank Holidays Service Care Solutions are working in partnership with a council in North London to recruit a Level 3 Commercial Vehicle Technician to support the delivery of their vital Street Scene Transport Services. This is a key role based in Barnet, where the Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and compliance of the council’s diverse vehicle and plant fleet - including refuse vehicles, grounds maintenance machinery, and specialist equipment. The Role : This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced technician to join a high-performing workshop team. The successful candidate will carry out inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and MOT testing (Classes 4, 5 & 7), ensuring the fleet remains roadworthy, compliant, and cost-effective. The role also includes occasional roadside assistance, administrative duties, and supporting operational compliance with the council’s operator licence.
