This is a permanent role covering projects across Scotland, joining a growing team following recent project successes.Key Responsibilities : Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to : Managing and developing the environmental department, providing relevant training and overseeing environmental staff.Overseeing all environmental aspects of the division’s internal and external waste management operations.Ensuring compliance with best practices and current environmental legislation.Guaranteeing compliance with mandatory environmental requirements at all construction sites, including site licence conditions, planning regulations, emissions limits, and ground stability monitoring.Preparing and submitting all required environmental and waste management reports to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA).Acting as the primary liaison for environmental regulations within the division, maintaining regular communication with external bodies such as planning authorities, the Environment Agency, and SEPA regarding environmental matters.Implementing and maintaining Environmental Management Systems to ISO14001 standards, ensuring continued accreditation with the Briti...
