Job description :
MLT Digital is seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Director to manage and develop a portfolio of low-touch legal sector clients. This pivotal role combines client relationship management, strategic growth initiatives, and project management to ensure the success and satisfaction of our clients within the digital, AI-driven marketing landscape.
Key responsibilities :
Manage and grow a portfolio of low touch, legal sector clientsAdhere to strict and accurate briefing, scoping, and delivery protocolsDevelop and implement strategic digital marketing roadmaps / plans tailored to each client's needs and goals, underpinned by performance dataCollaborate with internal teams (Operations, Content, SEO, PPC, Data, and Marketing) to ensure high-quality delivery of servicesIdentify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand client accounts using AI driven market insights and gap analysisMonitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation and developmentLead client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating complex digital marketing conceptsManage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure client satisfaction and agency profitabilityStay updated on industry trends, particularly in AI-driven marketing, Automations and Agents for the legal sectorRequired experience :
10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 7+ years in a leading client-facing roleAt least 12 months working knowledge and experience of AI driven strategies and / or tools – ChatGPT mandatory, Claude, Gemini, Co-Pilot, Perplexity – familiarity is acceptableExperienced level for Teamwork, Asana, Monday, or other Project Management SoftwareStrong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, content marketing, and social mediaExperience in the legal sector or professional services industry is highly desirableSoft skills :
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlinesConfidence and adaptability to navigate conversations with high-achieving professionalsSuperior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical professional clientsStrong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilitiesProven record of accomplishment of managing and growing multiple client accounts simultaneouslyExceptional relationship-building abilities, with a focus on trust and long-term partnershipsAdaptability and resilience, particularly when dealing with demanding legal professionalsStrategic thinking and problem-solving skillsEmpathy and active listening to understand and address client needs effectivelyAbility to remain calm under pressure and manage conflicting prioritiesProactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues before they escalate to the Operations Director and / or Performance DirectorAdditional requirements :
Degree in Marketing, Business, or related fieldKnowledge of WordPress, Weblium and Joomla platforms would be ideal but not essentialWillingness to work in Glasgow City Centre Tue-Thu minimum weekly, 3 days out of 5Compensation and benefits :
