Job description

At Teaching Personnel, we are collaborating closely with a school in Middleton who are actively seeking for a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can support Year 5 students. This is an exciting opportunity to anyone who wants to work in a school that provides a stable and supportive environment in which everyone feels safe and valued. The successful educator will be working in a full-time role (8 : 30am-3 : 30pm) and is required to start as soon as possible.

The Role :

  • Provide encouragement and support during core foundation subjects.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of Key Stage 2 students.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
  • Help create a positive and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements :

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant experience working with children, preferably within a school setting.
  • Knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum and methods to support this
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or training in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).
