We are currently recruiting for a Transport Supervisor to work in our busy Belvedere Transport office located in South East London. We are looking for someone who is driven, focused, customer orientated as well as commercially & industry aware. A good geographical knowledge is essential along with previous experience of multi drop distribution. Experience in compliance and FORS is mandatory.You must have excellent communication and negotiating skills. Previous experience as a Transport Supervisor is essential and Lorry Loader experience is preferred.The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic transport team helping to take the business forward and promote organic growth furthering their own career along the way. They would be expected to communicate with a wide and diverse group of stakeholders essential to the smooth running of the business. A hands-on approach is a must to work alongside our drivers therefore experience in a similar field is essential for this role.Our ideal candidate must be of strong character and be able to work independently and as a key part of our existing transport team. Attention to detail, with strong planning and organisational skills is a must along with excellent time and work management.We are looking for a dynamic individual who can adapt quickly to change, someone who is proactive & self-motivated who can work under pressure whilst producing work of a high standard.The role will will be allocating work for 25 commercial vehicles of varying size as well as a small fleet of company cars.
