Carpenter and Joiner

We are looking for a skilled joiner / carpenter to join our team, you will be responsible for assembling of pre-machined frames, installing ironmongery into timber fire doors, pre hanging the doors in the frames, installing glass vision panels with pre made beads using a variety of tools and techniques.This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Duties : - Installing hinges, locks, spy holes, letter boxes, intumescent etc into pre machined door sets according to specifications.

• Operate power tools and hand tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and routers
• Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and locks
• Assembling pre machine frames together
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work areaSkills : - Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for woodworking
• Knowledge of joinery techniques and woodworking principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings / specifications
• Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
• Familiarity with timber doors and fitting an advantage
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as requiredThis is a full-time position based in our manufacturing workshop.Please submit your CV highlighting your relevant experience.Hours - 6am - 3pm.Hourly Rate £17 per hour
