As the successful Field Service Engineer, you will be a member of the service team, and be responsible for the installation, calibration, service and repair of metrology equipment at customer site, covering the Southwest Midlands area. Field Service Engineer – Responsibilities : Conduct customer site visits on a daily basis Install precision measuring equipment. Complete service and calibration work. Undertake trouble shooting including fault-finding, diagnosis and rectification. Skills & Experience required : Minimum of HNC / BTEC or equivalent in an engineering discipline, or relevant industry experience. Experience of fault finding on electro-mechanical systems. Hands on practical mechanical fitting and installationBasic electrical skills for replacing circuit boards and use of test equipmentStrong communicator, organisation skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good IT skills.
