We are supporting a Lloyd's market Underwriters who are recruiting for a new Risk Analyst to join their Risk and Compliance team. This role will suit an experienced Risk Analyst from the Lloyd's / London Insurance industry who is a confident communicator with a professional attitude. You will need to be a team player who has a drive to succeed and will have experience in dealing with confidential information and presenting your work to the highest level of accuracy. Strong MS Office skills ( particularly Word and Excel ) are essential and MS SharePoint would be a definite advantage. They are offering a salary upto £50000 plus benefits and the expectation is that you will be in the office 4 days per week. The primary focus of the role is to support the Risk Management team in the implementing and managing the risk and internal control frameworks across the business. Key Tasks will include : Support the maintenance and review of the risk register, ensuring that it is regularly reviewed by risk owners as part of the bi-annual senior management risk assessment process.Collate risk and control metrics from a variety of sources for input into board level risk reporting.Assist in reviewing and updating risk management policies and procedures to ensure they align with current practices and comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including Lloyd's Principles.Manage the company's SharePoint documentation library, ensuring that documents are reviewed appropriately, and metadata is accurate.Provide support for the ORSA process, including gathering and recording information.Support the identification and management of emerging risks and horizon scanning.Assist in the completion of Principles Attestation working, with risk owners and prepare for review by Head of Risk and the Board.Support the IMVAL process, including conducting qualitative testing and preparing reports for review.Support other Risk Management projects, e.g. ESG & Climate Change.This a new role with a growing and thriving Underwriters who have a great profile in the market and is a fantastic opportunity for a Risk Analyst looking for the next step in their career.
