Location : Liverpool, UK
Position : Behaviour Mentor (Full-Time)
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentors to work in secondary schools across Liverpool , supporting pupils who may have Special Educational Needs (SEN) or face social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide 1 : 1 and small group support , promoting positive behaviour strategies.
Assist pupils in managing their emotions, building confidence, and developing coping skills.
Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to create a nurturing learning environment .
Implement tailored interventions to help students engage with their learning.
What We’re Looking For :
Experience working with children or young people with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs.
Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one.
