We have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to maintain and inspect their fleet of commercial vehicles, primarily Scania and Volvo tippers, grab waggons, and low loaders.Your Role : As an HGV Fitter / Vehicle Technician, you will be at the forefront of keeping our client's fleet in prime condition. Your responsibilities will include : Diagnosing and Repairing Faults : Accurately identify issues with commercial vehicles and carry out effective repairs.Vehicle Inspections : Conduct thorough inspections every six weeks to ensure vehicles are road-worthy and compliant.Ad hoc Duties : Assist with on-road call-outs and other tasks as directed by the Workshop Manager. What We're Looking For : To thrive in this role, you should have : Experience : Proven experience in the diagnosis, maintenance, servicing, and repair of commercial vehicles.Technical Knowledge : Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and diagnostic tools.Training Advantage : Previous attendance of manufacturers' training courses is highly advantageous.Licences : A full UK driving licence is essential.
