Job Title : Quantity Surveyor
Location : Lewisham
Salary : Up to £60,000 + Benefits
Full-Time | Permanent
We're looking for a skilled and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to join our team and manage the financial and contractual aspects of live construction projects. You'll play a critical role in ensuring full commercial entitlement and driving performance throughout the full project lifecycle - from pre-contract through to final accounts.
Key Responsibilities :
Administer contracts to ensure commercial and legal compliance
Support tenders and bid reviews, working closely with estimators and ops teams
Prepare and place sub-contract orders, valuations, and claims
Manage project CVRs, forecasts, and cost / value reporting
Support procurement strategy and manage supply chain performance
Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery
Assist in resolving disputes and preparing claims when needed
Support the monthly project review process with financial updates
About You :
3-7 years' experience in a commercial or QS role within construction
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
MRICS or MCIOB desirable (not essential)
Strong knowledge of commercial contracts and legal principles
Experienced in re-measurement, valuations, and supply chain negotiation
Comfortable managing project cost systems and using Microsoft Excel
Excellent communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels
Holds a valid UK driving licence and CSCS card
