A Local Authority is looking to recruit a Senior Surveyor to on an interim basis.Responsibilities :
Lead a team of surveyors focused on the acquisition and disposal of properties and the Councils strategic property development initiatives, maximising the value of the Council's land holdings, identifying and securing development opportunities and delivering best value for money on property transactions, ensuring compliance and achieving the Councils strategic objectives.Manage the development process from initial feasibility studies through planning and construction to ensure successful project delivery and
oversee valuations, both internally and externally undertaken for, and on, the Councils real estate portfolio.Develop, lead, advise and implement strategies for potential investments, divestments, land acquisitions, developments or asset management initiatives, including the formulation of new and innovative investment ideas, structures, policies and partnerships ensuring day to day operations are aligned with the Councils Property Strategy.Qualifications : A Member or Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors RICS.This interim assignment provides an opportunity for you to work with one of Country's most diverse borough's with a wide ranging portfolio of project work that you can also gain exposure to.
