Part Time Events Co-ordinator

Starting basic salary £14351 - £17109 per annum (equivalent to £25284 – £30144 for full time), plus essential user car allowance.

21 hours per week.

Starting Base - Resorts Office, Hunstanton

We are looking for an enthusiastic Events Co-ordinator to be responsible for the organisation and delivery of Council events and activities events progress across West Norfolk which may mean evening, weekend and bank holiday working.

You will be involved in a range of events and activities in Hunstanton and assist with other events throughout west Norfolk. You will be assigned specific events to be responsible for including the planning, implementation, events plan and be the Council representative at the events. You will work with the communications team to promote and publicise all activities and events to local and / or national audiences and plan and co-ordinate the monitoring and evaluation of all activities and events to add and remove from the programme as needed. You will also provide assistance and guidance to local organisations with event management, event plans and safe provision of events on Council owned land.

You will have experience of working in a similar role including planning, organising and managing events, delivering successful outdoor events and activities and organisation and directing people at events. You will have excellent communication skills with experience of working with a wide range of people to build strong community partnerships. You will be able to prioritise effectively, managing conflicting priorities to meet changing deadlines, with a willingness to undertake a wide range of roles and responsibilities to ensure events are delivered to a high standard. You must have a full driving licence to be able to travel around the borough.
