Job description
On behalf of our client, a well-established aerospace manufacturing company, we are seeking a Sales Coordinator to join their expanding team in Hinckley. The ideal candidate will have experience in a commercial, sales or planning role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the aviation sector.Key Responsibilities :
- Liaise with a variety of customers through different communication channels.
- Complete contract review on new orders received.
- Work closely with the Engineering and Commercial teams.
- Input new orders into the ERP system.
- Manage open orders and delivery status updates to customers.
- Address and resolve any customer issues.
- Work with customers portals to update delivery commitments.
- Ensure planning and production lead times are respected through launch and completion.
- Working with the Supply Chain team to ensure that any manufacturing order delayed due by raw material shortages is discussed & recovered.Qualifications & Experience :
- Minimum 2 years experience in similar role.
- An understanding & working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is a must.
- Good communication skills both written & verbal.
- Work effectively in a team and able to use your own initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Build relationships with other departments in the business to resolve issues.Benefits :
