Job descriptionResource and allocate loads daily to achieve the best possible margin. Ensure deliveries are scheduled on time and meet customer expectations. Actively seek additional work through various trading platforms. Engage with new and existing customers to drive repeat business and ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain regular contact with the haulier base to ensure a continuous supply. Monitor delivery performance and communicate any delays to customers promptly. Work towards achieving set targets in line with operational KPIs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within the Transport Management System (TMS). Participate in an on-call duty rota. Proficiency in PC use, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn new transport management systems. Extensive experience in negotiating transport rates with subcontractors.
