Were seeking a skilled and motivated
Manufacturing Engineer
to join our dynamic team at our Farnborough facility. As a
Manufacturing Engineer , you will be responsible for delivering efficient, high-quality manufacturing processes and supporting both day-to-day production and strategic projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace components in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer : Design and implement efficient, cost-effective manufacturing methods and processes.Support production with tooling, fixtures, and process improvements to ensure Right First Time standards.Manage quality control documentation and compliance with industry regulations.Analyse performance data to drive continuous improvement.Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve production challenges.
What Youll Need : Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Production Engineering.Background in aerospace manufacturing, ideally in welding, fabrication, or metal forming.Strong working knowledge of engineering drawings, CAD tools (Catia, SolidWorks), and ERP systems.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
Desirable Extras : Green Belt Six Sigma, APQP / PPAP, or advanced quality tools experience.Familiarity with NDT techniques and industry compliance requirements.
