Kent Range 3 – Salary £23337 (pro rata to hours and weeks worked)
HOURS : 29 Hours per week (38 weeks per year) - 8.48am - 3 : 06pm
Teaching Assistant - Fixed Term post
We are looking to appoint a fixed term Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is to support in a class where there may be a child who needs extra support with their learning, well-being, behaviour or medical needs. The successful candidate will be required to work with individuals or small groups of pupils in the learning environment under the supervision of teaching staff. The contract would be for 29 hours a week (term time only) until the end of August 2025, in the first instance, with potential for extension.
The successful candidate will be expected to :
- Be imaginative, creative and energetic.
- Be able to differentiate when supporting learning.
- Be a good team player who can communicate effectively.
- Be highly organised in record keeping.
- Be flexible and prepared to use their initiative.
- Be committed to their own professional development.
- Be someone who enjoys working with young children and is fun to work with!
- Have some experience of supporting children with significant SEN needs, e.g ASD, ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of the Early Years and Key Stage 1 Curriculum.
- Have relevant qualifications or experience (NVQ Level 2 minimum or equivalent).
