This is an excellent opportunity to start on a temporary basis with a clear pathway to a permanent role, where you will be the crucial link between the project and the local community.Your key responsibilities will include : Being the primary point of contact for residents affected by the infrastructure works, addressing their queries, concerns, and providing timely updates.Establishing and maintaining strong, positive relationships with residents, community groups, and local stakeholders.Effectively communicating complex project information in a clear, concise, and accessible manner through various channels (e.g., face-to-face meetings, newsletters, drop-in sessions, phone calls, emails).Organising and facilitating resident engagement activities, such as community meetings, information sessions, and site visits.Proactively identifying and addressing potential issues and concerns raised by residents, escalating complex matters appropriately.Maintaining accurate records of all resident interactions, enquiries, and resolutions.Working closely with the project team, including site managers, engineers, and communication specialists, to ensure a coordinated approach to resident engagement.Monitoring and reporting on resident feedback to the project team to inform decision-making and mitigate potential impacts.Assisting with the development and distribution of project information materials.Ensuring compliance with relevant stakeholder engagement plans and procedures.To be successful in this role, you will possess : Proven experience in a customer-facing role with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
