They are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Disassembly Technician, with strong attention to detail, a passion for aviation and the strive to produce revolutionary products at the forefront of the role. With the ability to work with cutting edge technology and contribute to the sustainable positive change within the aerospace industry, this job is the ideal opportunity to grow your career to the heights you desire.Responsibilities : Disassemble client customer aircraft components in accordance with manufacturer instructions and guidelines.Mitigate additional damage and work with the team to communicate required improvements to tooling and processes.Work to strict deadlines.Uphold company standards.Awareness and understanding of client computer-based MOE (IQMove)Liaise and report to Team Leader if any damage occurs allowing improvements to be investigated.Carry out missing and damaged inspections.Participate and contribute to team meetings.Be comfortable reporting any issues or concerns to colleagues and managers. Essential Skills, Knowledge And Experience : 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4 / A-C or equivalent.A qualification in an engineering subject is desirable.Apprenticeship in mechanical assembly / disassembly is advantageous for the role, but not an essential.Demonstrate knowledge and experience of use of hand tools and use of PPE.Previous use of overhead cranes and forklifts would be preferable.Previous experience in Aerospace sector is advantageous but not essential.Ability to work independently, follow instructions and prioritize safety and quality.Have great teamwork and communication skills as well as being reliable and trustworthy.Ability to work and remain indefinitely in the UK.
