Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? We are seeking dedicated and versatile Visually Impaired SEN Support staff to join our SEN schools in Havering, starting in September 2024. If you have the skills and commitment to support visually impaired students in their educational journey, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide tailored support to visually impaired students, helping them to access the curriculum and engage in classroom activities.
- Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials to meet the needs of visually impaired students.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback and support to encourage development.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes independence and confidence among students.
